Je raconte, Looking Differently, Painting with my Camera…
Après avoir écrit
une rétrospective de mes 85 ans, ce matin, à mon réveil, dans le silence, j’ai
pensé à la manière d’adapter ces trois titres — qui représentent chacun une
partie de ma vie — pour les réunir dans un contexte différent, celui du
présent.
Aujourd’hui, les
nouveaux programmes et l’intelligence artificielle nous offrent la possibilité
de transformer notre regard, de nous reconnecter avec le passé, le présent, et
peut-être même avec l’avenir.
Pendant des
années, j’ai photographié, écrit, observé, accumulé des fragments de vie, des
visages, des rues, des silences, sans toujours comprendre qu’un même fil
invisible reliait toutes ces démarches.
Je commence
aujourd’hui un projet qui me fascine et me redonne une énergie inattendue.
Un projet qui correspond à celle que je suis devenue aujourd’hui.
Entre
photographie, mémoire, écriture et transformation visuelle, je cherche moins à
documenter le réel qu’à le regarder autrement.
Peut-être qu’au
fond, depuis le début, je sentais peindre avec ma caméra.

Je raconte, Looking Differently, Painting with my Camera…
After writing a retrospective of my 85 years, this morning,
upon waking in the silence, I began thinking about how to bring these three
titles together — each representing a part of my life — into a different
context, the context of the present.
Today, new technologies and artificial intelligence give us
the possibility to transform our vision, to reconnect with the past, the
present, and perhaps even the future.
For years, I photographed, wrote, observed, accumulated
fragments of life, faces, streets, and silences, without always understanding
that the same invisible thread connected all these paths.
Today, I am beginning a project that fascinates me and gives
me unexpected energy.
A project that corresponds to the person I have become today.
Between photography, memory, writing, and visual
transformation, I seek less to document reality than to look at it differently.
Perhaps deep down, from the very beginning, I felt myself
painting with my camera.

לאחר שכתבתי רטרוספקטיבה על 85 שנות חיי, הבוקר, כשהתעוררתי בתוך
השקט, חשבתי כיצד להתאים את שלושת הכותרים הללו — שכל אחד מהם מייצג חלק מחיי — ולאחד
אותם בתוך הקשר חדש, ההווה.
היום, הטכנולוגיות החדשות והבינה המלאכותית מעניקות לנו אפשרות
לשנות את הדרך שבה אנו רואים, להתחבר מחדש אל העבר, אל ההווה ואולי גם אל העתיד.
במשך שנים צילמתי, כתבתי, התבוננתי, אספתי שברי חיים, פנים, רחובות
ושתיקות, מבלי להבין תמיד שאותו חוט בלתי נראה מחבר בין כל הדרכים הללו.
היום אני מתחילה פרויקט שמרתק אותי ומעניק לי אנרגיה בלתי צפויה.
פרויקט שמתאים לאישה שהפכתי להיות היום.
בין צילום, זיכרון, כתיבה וטרנספורמציה חזותית, אני מחפשת פחות
לתעד את המציאות ויותר להביט בה אחרת.
אולי, עמוק בפנים, מאז ומתמיד הרגשתי שאני מציירת עם המצלמה שלי.
